OUR STORY

At MoFi Electronics, we believe that music is more than just sound—it's an experience that has the power to evoke memories, emotions, and a deep sense of connection. This is especially true for vinyl, a medium that invites listeners to engage with music in a more intentional and immersive way. For us, vinyl represents the perfect blend of analog warmth, tactile interaction, and timeless artistry.

Our story began with a simple but profound vision: to bring the listener closer to the music without compromising on quality. As a group of designers, engineers, and vinyl enthusiasts, we were united by our love for music and our desire to create products that embody the spirit of analog sound. We saw an opportunity to reimagine what audio components could be—making it not just a piece of equipment, but a centerpiece for any music lover’s space.
Craftsmanship Meets Innovation

From the outset, our goal was clear: to design audio components that bring the listener closer to the source. We started by rethinking every component, drawing on decades of expertise in the audio industry. Our team of highly regarded experts and legendary engineers brought together cutting-edge design, use of high quality components and time-honored craftsmanship to create equipment that not only look beautiful but also perform exceptionally well.

Each MoFi component is meticulously crafted to ensure that it delivers the best possible listening experience. We carefully select materials that minimize vibration and resonance, allowing the listener to hear their favorite records as the artists intended. Our attention to detail extends to every element, from the cartridge to the speaker, ensuring that every component works in harmony to bring out the full richness and depth of vinyl sound.

THE MOFI ELECTRONICS JOURNEY

MoFi Electronics, founded in 2014, was born from the legendary Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab, which has been setting the standard for audiophile sound since 1977. While Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab revolutionized the world of high-fidelity music with its half-speed mastered vinyl and renowned “Original Master Recording” series, MoFi Electronics extends this legacy by designing premium turntables, speakers, and components that bring the artist’s intent directly to your home.

Discover how both MoFi Electronics and Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab have shaped the world of audio by exploring the key milestones in our history below.
